Hérédita is a cuvée born from the collaboration between Philippe Cambie, specialist in Grenache and Cru Châteauneuf du Pape, best oenologist of the year 2010 by Parker, and Thierry Ferlay, talented oenologist at Cellier des Princes since 2009. This exceptional Cuvée comes from Centenary Grenaches combine tradition and modernity, hence its motto “NOVE SED NON NOVA”, the way is new but not the material.

  • ORIGINAL TERROIR

    Hillsides and pebbles rolled with quartzites on a red clay subsoil. Selection of the most qualitative plots on hillsides and century-old Grenache in Courthezon.

  • GRAPE VARIETIES

    Grenache 95% and Mourvèdre 5%

  • WINEMAKING

    Manual harvest at optimal maturity, and rapid transport in small containers to the wine cellar.
    Selective destemming, vatting for 35 days with daily destemming and pumping over.
    Fermentation temperature from 28 to 30°C.
    This wine is only produced in the best years and produced in very small quantities, less than 2000 bottles per year with a yield of 25 Hl/ha

  • AGING

    12 months in demi-muids (600L barrels) then several months in bottles.

  • TASTING TIPS

    Can be enjoyed now, and cellared for 8 to 15 years. Serve at 15° – 16°C.

  • SUPPORT ADVICE

    It goes well with all dishes with sauce, game such as filet mignon of doe, roast wild boar, duck confit and mature cheeses.
